Biography

Kel has been a professional nightclub DJ for 20 years playing at various venues around the South of England including : 

The University Of Greenwich; University Of London; University Of Kent; Zen / Air & Breathe (Dartford); Club Extreme (Erith); Polo Bar / Bar Ice (Bexleyheath); Indigo (Folkestone); Liquid (Ashford / Harlow / Basildon); Time & Envy (Romford); The Gardening Club (Covent Garden); Talk (Herne Bay); Punch & Judy (Margate); Zeus (Chelmsford) as well as several guest bookings at various clubs & bars.

He has played alongside many DJs including Judge Jules, Dave Pearce, Tim Deluxe, The Audio Bullies, Jeremy Healey, Danny Rampling, and has also supported some great live acts who include Dizzee Rascal, Goldie Lookin' Chain and Dannii Minogue. Later this year he is booked to support Florence & The Machine, Pendulum and Tinie Tempah.

3 years ago he switched to using visuals in his DJ sets to become a video Dj and now uses 100% video. Every tune played in his DVJ sets have a custom made video to accompany them, incorporating motion graphics, film clips and remixed music videos.

Using the Pioneer SVM1000 audio visual mixer, he creates an audio visual soundscape where ever he plays.

Kel is currently holding DVJ residencies at Liquid in Basildon and The University Of Kent, he plays regular guest gigs in the UK and Europe including Club Savoy (Gottingen), and has had several tutorial videos published in the Pioneer DJ Sounds Website. , and with 3 global radio shows every week, Global1fm, RedSeaDance Radio and Safe Radio, he is building a global following for his sound.

He has just moved into producing his own tunes and has just finished producing his first tune alongside studio mates Emkay which is currently being prepared for release on Grub Records.
